heartbreak as Champions Manchester United were brought down to earth as they tasted defeat at the Reebok Stadium. it was a game many easily expected Manu to win. kudos to Bolton, but the were desperately defending their goal. Nicolas Anelka put them ahead in the 11th minute. In the 2nd half, manu dominated the game, but failed to find an equaliser. Owen Hargreaves had a goal bound free-kick to the top left hand corner saved by the bolton shot stopper. minutes later, saha broke free and his little one-two found evra, who squared the ball for the onrushing Carlos Tevez, who beat the offside trap, only to see his shot go just wide of the post where he was just in front of the goal. how the F*** can he miss that? IN FRONT OF GOAL LA. and i mean, IN FRONT. the ball just sliced from his boot and it went out. what a letdown. in the dying minutes of the game, manu had 85% of ball possession as it clearly showed that they wanted to get the equaliser. manu's passes found Hargreaves and he decided to shoot instead, with more than 4 players in the penalty area. the shot went wide. in stoppage time, evra's pass from midway line was blocked by bolton defender and the ball slips to Saha, the forward then put the ball past defenders for the onrushing Evra, Saha was open at the right side of the net, Evra could have just sliced the ball in for Saha to score but Evra decides to go for glory himself and the ball ends up over the bar and far away from goal. sucker la evra. Hargreaves had a last minute free kick and it ended on the roof of the net. kudos to bolton, they have not beaten Manu on their own home ground since.. er.. i forgot =x 20+ years. what a massive letdown for Manchester United as Arsenal yet again scored late, Gallas 84th minute, Rosicky 85th minute, 3points dropped and they cannot afford to lose more. Oo0galgal0oO was the one who was with me and encouraged me to play on. i played and played and i told myself, i have to level up at least once a day. if i dun i can go and die. my first ever friend in maple story aquila was limclarissa(tt is y i dote on her alot). i was only a noob, level 3x and she was 48. in a couple of weeks, i overtaked her. my first friends in maple story was when i became the guild master of ManUnitedFC. it was my very own guild. i made many friends in that guild. rekkoha, LuvYouForeva, shadowzhuzhu were part of the formation of ManUnitedFC. at that point of time when i was already 5x and Oo0galgal0oO decided to quit maple. i was bored in maple and i wanted to find a companion. there came RateMyDmg. she is a nice person. i met her in pq. we often talk to each other, and one day, i took come courage to ask her to be my maple gf. she considered and agreed. i was over the moon. the first ever girl i ever met in maple to be my maple gf. gosh. what a feeling it was. imranran,sugarranran, imliuliu,sugarliuliu , my rl married kor and jie in malaysia de were also part of building my maple career. i trained and trained and never gave up. i soon earned my first 100million in maple story. i took a few screenshots and my record i ever had was 152mil. i trained in mg and i met PledgeOfLove who was only 6x. Today he is 12x. Yes. The glorious day. where i became a sniper. i was proud of my achievements but i told myself my next step is to reach lv 100. i struggled in mg till level 75 before moving on to parking lot where i trained till 90 there. when i reached level 80, i was very happy, as i had a new weapon, a fire raven, last time 105attack consider as high liao. thanks to luvyouforeva and aNg3lCuT3Dit for megaing me congratulaing me on 8x. from 90 onwards i went to sotong map1 and during the 3days of the maple 2x i was 105 already. miracle right? thanks to luvyouforeva for megaing me on 10x. i slacked and slack from 105 onwards. i took quite some time to what i am today, level 116. made many friends, although some ppl kp me, i still made many friends. lynn quitted maple for quite a long time and i thought is ok i will wait a while.. but time passed as i was lonely in maple story. i waited over 4months and i thought its time for me to move on. i went to a matchmaking session where bronalla was introduced to me. she is a kind person and so we moved on. lynn came back to maple not long ago and im glad for her than she found herself a new bf, a better one, a higher level than me =x. grats lynn! alright.. my friends.. ^^ My friends are... moviexmen a.k.a ben RANGER. They are the friends that i can count on, depend on and turn to them for my troubles. im beginning to miss the days of sec2. the ups and the downs everyone shared together. i created the most problems in class, causing much displeasure to everyone. i apologise. ><
what i missed most was the pe lesson the class had with mr yip. more than half of the class,
including the girls, played soccer with us. kenneth was still there =D. i remember that i
missed a host of chances but i made up for it with a goal against wen cong to bring my side
1-0 up. kenneth's free kick then went directly into goal. 1-1 with not much time left.
it was the teamwork everyone shared together to build into goal. football is not about one
man show, is about the team work that carries the team to victory. i have played with the
best of soccer players in chong boon. maybe over complacency kills. our class was brought
down to earth with a stunning 0-3 defeat in the hands of combined 2e1 2e3 and 2ta class.
it was stunning, a team with many stars, sam, wencong, yuyang, andrew, heshvin, kurum,
asri, mun ru, our best goalkeeper desmond, and myself. we have beaten the sec5s 7-0 b4.
we thought that we would easily win. we attacked fairly well, i had a couple of chances on
goal but failed to convert. the first goal definitely killed us. we pushed forward to attack, but left a big hole in the middle to allow the opposition to score the second. we never gave up.
continued to attack, but we let in another disappointing goal. 0-3 defeat. its ok. we played
very very well. we played as a class, as a team, we had the fighting spirit. chins up. it
was not an embarassing defeat. it was just the over complacency of everyone which led
to the downfall.
another occasion was the sports fiesta back in april in the soccer final. blue against green.
not to showboat, but i scored the only goal in the group game for my green house which
brought us through to the finals after a 1-0 , 0-0 , 0-0 , 0-0 and we advanced the the final
just by one point over the expense of yellow house. the final was a disappointing one.
everyone wants to be a winner. i had confidence that i was going to win the game and make
my team captain proud. but little did we expect that there was no goalpost and chairs had
to be used. it was an advantage for the blue house because they can shoot from range with
accuracy. so the game started. we defended for nearly 10minutes before we cracked with
a goalkeeper error. after that goal went in, just in a shocking 2minutes, we were 0-3 down.
remember the famous comeback by liverpool in Istanbul in 2005? they were 0-3 down
against Italian giants ACMilan. however, they came back in 6 glorious minutes as they
scored 3 to make it level at 3-3. Liverpool then went on to win 3-2 on penalties. we attacked,
never gave up. karabo then gave us abit of hope, by heading into goal to make it 1-3. so we
thought, fine. we have an outside chance to beat the odds by making a comeback. but things
were not that simple. nicholas came on on the start of the second half and his presence made
the difference. in less than a minute, he delivered, pushing his shot to the bottom left corner
out of the goalkeeper's reach. Green 1-4 Blue. Nicholas then finished us by scoring a brace
then a hat-trick, extending their lead by 5 goals. it was already game over for us with just
2minutes left. an own goal gave us something to cheer about as the game finished 2-6
in the favour of Blue house.

Derby County lost 0-5 at home to West Ham. it was like a waste of time watching la. the goals were freeflowing and it was like what the f Derby cannot even defend. West Ham scored 3goals clearcut unmarked and Derby with an own goal and a free kick converted in the end. what we stayed up to watch was the Liverpool v Fulham game at 1.15am in malaysia. lolx. in sg, is 5mins faster than msia, which means when sg shouts goal, msia is still watching the game. lolx. Liverpool were lucky to get away with it. It was a lacklusture and dismal performance by Liverpool as they struggled to take their chances until Fernando Torres stepped out from the bench to give Liverpool the lead in the 81st minute. Reina pumped the ball into air , Torres chested the ball perfectly and pushing forward on his own. he stopped. and with his left leg, he struck into the bottom right of the goal leaving Niemi no chance at all. 1-0 to Liverpool. Felicia and i were betting lah. i told her saying that either 0-0 or Liverpool will score last minute goal which they did. lol. she insisted that Liverpool would win 1-0. hahahas to her. cos Babel's pass to Crouch put the striker in pole position to put Liverpool 2-0 ahead but Crouch was tackled from behind and the referee pointed to the penalty spot. Gerrard stepped up and slotted the ball into the bottom right with Niemi going the wrong way. 2-0 to Liverpool. Liverpool pressed on but could not get a third. 2-0 win for Pool was an unfair result. i feel that Fulham should have gotten at least a draw.
